My First Duathlon

My mom and I, along with a friend and cousin, competed in a 7 mile run and 14 mile bike duathlon at Aurora Reservoir. I went into it thinking it was a 3 1/2 mile run and didn't realize we had to do the run twice. I should have trained a little harder! Nonetheless, it was a lot of fun, beautiful weather, and a great workout! We are planning to do it again next year!
